
Ms. Collins was born in Atlanta, GA. November 11, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Lanier Waldrep and Ruby Louise Brannon Waldrep.
Ms. Collins went to be with Jesus after her faithful walk where she fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith. Now there is laid up in store for her a crown of righteousness, 2 Timothy 4:7-8. Her life was a joy to her entire family.
Survivors include one son John Tollison and his wife Penny of Grass Valley, California, two daughters Suzy Collins Bentley and her husband Clay of Acworth, and Kendall Collins Duggan and her husband Stewart of Rome; six grandchildren Eden Bentley, William Bentley, Finn Collins, Stella Collins, Noah Duggan and Levi Duggan; four step grandchildren Derek Bentley, Ivy Chandler, Hugh and Gracie Duggan. Also surviving is one brother Richard Waldrep and three sisters, Alicia Gail Waldrep, Tess Galloway and Anita Lewis.
Funeral services for Ms. Collins were held Saturday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill Pardue officiating. The family received friends from 1:30 until the funeral hour in King Hall. Interment was at Floyd Memory Gardens.
Those serving as pallbearers were Jodie Galloway, Brannon Galloway, Derek Bentley, Eddie Lewis, Stewart Duggan and Cory Collins.
