Louise T. Collett

Christine Louise Turner Collett was born on October 3, 1919 in Powder Springs, Ga to the late Walter T. Turner and Mina Murray Turner. She retired from the Georgia Department of Labor and was a faithful member of Second Avenue Baptist Church, Rome, GA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She touched many lives thought out her life and will always be remembered. Mrs. Collett is preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Collett, her parents, W.T. and Mina Turner, her brothers and sister-in law Tom Turner and Robert and Mary Turner.

Mrs. Collett is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Cheryl Collett of Rome, Ga; grandson and wife, Sean and Brooke Collett of Evans, Ga.; grandson and wife, Brett and Rachel Collett of Lilburn, Ga., and five great grandchildren. A special thanks to all at Riverwood Senior Living who gave their loving care to Louise.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, Rome, Ga, with the Reverend Monty Stallins officiating. The family received friends Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Daniels Funeral Home, 901 E 2nd Avenue, Rome, Ga.
