Vincent J. Donadio

Mr. Donadio was born in New York, NY, on February 19, 1927, the son of the late Vincenzo Donadio and Mary Nutile Donadio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Stephanie Jean Domilska Donadio, who passed away in 2001, a son, Allen John Donadio, two brothers, Tony Donadio and Frankie Donadio, and a sister, Beatrice Donadio.

Mr. Donadio was a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a mechanical engineering degree. He held a professional engineer’s license and was employed by the U. S. Government in the Weaponry Dept. for 30 years. He was the owner of 18 patents. He loved tennis and was president of the Pequannock Tennis Club, Pompton Plains, NJ. Mr. Donadio was a member of the Grace Bible Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Force.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Richard James Donadio (Christine), Rome, and Michael John Donadio (Angela), West Milford, NJ; grandchildren, Leslie Donadio, Holly Donadio and Daniel Donadio and a step-grandchild, Stephanie Rowles; and two sisters, Margie Spinelli, Pompton Plains, NJ, and Millie Donadio, Clifton, NJ.

The family will receive friends at Daniel’s Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral services and interment will be held in New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Church at Northside or the local Veterans Association.
