One of my favorite stories of Alex is one involving Jim, Alex’s younger brother.  Jim was college age and they went skiing at Squaw Valley one winter for several days.  In their room Alex began to unpack while Jim was unloading ski equipment. Alex discovered a bra in the dresser and decided to play a joke on Jim.  Quickly he placed the bra on the bed, turned on the shower and hid in the bathroom.  When Jim entered the room, he began screaming, Jim saw the bra and in panic thought he was in the wrong room!  He couldn’t exit the room fast enough!  Alex loved to tell stories and I loved hearing them!  As his sister in law (Jim’s wife) these stories are a treasure to be shared forever.  Although I will miss Alex dearly, I am happy for him being united with the family, especially his brothers, Todd and Jim in glory.  Well done, good and faithful servant!  My prayers arise for everyone in our family, especially Shirley, Brian, Cathy and Carol, may our Lord Jesus give you peace and comfort.   Love, Marta Meloy

Alex' son, Brian, his wife, Michelle, and I, plan to drive the metal box of cremated remains of my admired husband, Alex, to the Toulacay Cemetary in Napa.  The box will be placed  next to his parents, Alexander Steuart Meloy, and Catherine Todd Meloy.

Give Praise to the Father in Heaven that the spirit of His child, Alex, felt no pain from  Congestive Heart Failure, and is now freed from gravity and I believe "soaring around".
