It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Lynn Everett (Ashcraft) on July 4, 2023, at the age of 71 in Roseville, CA. Carol’s battle with cancer ended with her loving family by her side, in the comfort of her own home. She had just celebrated her birthday in June along with her 41st wedding anniversary with her devoted husband, Daren Everett.
She is survived by her three children, Eddie Guill, Brandy Lawrence (Rick Lawrence) and Lucas Everett and was a valuable family matriarch. She adored her six grandchildren – Stephen Guill, Michael Byersdorf (Jordan Byersdorf), Kaden Guill, Jack Soder, Brittany Lawrence & Madison Lawrence. She was remarkably close to her siblings and extended family, spending as much time as she could with all her loved ones.
Carol enjoyed traveling and going on adventures with her husband and best friend, Daren. As business owners for over 40 years together, they were able to tour all over the world for both business and pleasure. However, their favorite place to spend time and create memories was at their cabin in Kyburz. She loved to entertain her family and friends and could never pass up a card game!
Carol loved being outdoors and had a knack for gardening. She was an athlete for most of her life, excelling in various sports such as racquetball, waterskiing and soccer. She belonged to the Killer Tomatoes women’s soccer team for over 3 decades which became like a second family to her. In her later years, she enjoyed playing pickle ball and always remained physically fit. She cherished the lasting friendships she gained from her various group activities.
Her legacy is one of love, laughter, kindness, and tenacity. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Carol will tell you what a pure beam of light she was, touching the souls of so many throughout her lifetime. She was an incredible spirit who left an imprint on our hearts and minds, inspiring us to seek adventure in life, the same way she did!
It is at the family’s request that a private service be held in honor of Carol. She will also have a memorial dedicated to her at the Roseville Public Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.LambertFuneral.com.
