It is with great sadness we announce the death of Carolyn Schliessmann. Carolyn was born June the 30th, 1958 to Charles “Chuck” and Alice Haupt in Illinois. She was the 2nd of 7 children, proceeded by older sister Trina, and followed by younger brothers Michael, Robert, Kevin and Carl and younger sister Karen.
Carolyn dedicated her life to children, 4 of her own, 1 granddaughter and hundreds (maybe thousands) of lives she touched as an early childhood educator over the last 35 years.
Carolyn loved reading any book she could get her hands on, listening to 70’s singer-song writers such as James Taylor, Carol King or Dave Mason and relaxing outside. She is survived by her granddaughter Jane, daughters Anne and Lizzy, sons Ryan and Johnny, daughter-in-law Jasmine and son-in-law Joe.
A Memorial will be held for Carolyn on Saturday November 2nd at 1:30PM at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville, California. A donation to www.childrenincorporated.org would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
