David Mark Hanson

David Mark Hanson was born November, 16, 1935 and passed away September 5, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s.

David was born and raised in Glenn County and graduated from Willows High School in 1954. Shortly thereafter, David married his high school sweetheart, Cecilia Wampler.

David is was proceeded in death by his parents Mark & Mildred, and is survived by his brother Richard, Sister Marlene, daughters Audrey Daugherty, Connie Gisler and Kelcey Hanson, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Being a restless entrepreneur at heart, in 1967 David and his wife Cecilia, along with David’s parents, Mark & Mildred Hanson, founded M & M Electric Company, which has been operated by their family since its founding, and it continues to be a thriving business, now operated by his daughters.

David loved life in the Sierras, Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and gold mining. In his later years golfing became his passion.

His graveside service will be held at the Brownsville Cemetery on Monday 9/12/2016 at 1:00 pm.
