Eva Flores Avila

She is survied by her husband of 59 years, Jose D. Avila, her daughter's Elizabeth Avila Sanchez, Tabitha Avila Simental. Her son-in-laws Richard Sanchez, and Jesse Simental. Grandchildren Joseph Avila, wife Adria, Lisa Avila, Marc Avila wife Anita, Richard Sanchez Jr, wife Yvonne, Danny Sanchez, wife Carrie, Anthony Sanchez and Patricia, Angie Quilala, Ashley Avila, Louie Sanchez, Melissa Avila, and Angelo Avila Great-Grandchildren Alyssa, Macr Jr., Joel, and Jacob Avila, Alyssa, Dominque Jr, Isaiah Melchor, Bella, Mia, and Benito Sanchez, Angelique, Dominque, and Izaak Quilala, and Ryan Ornales.

She was preceded by Francisco and Magdalena, brothers and sisters, and her only son Joe F. Avila who she fondly called "Baby Joe".

Eva was born in Arizona her parents Francisco and Magdalena Flores moved to the little town of LeGrand, CA when she was 2 years old. Her father Francisco became the Pastor of the LeGrand Apostolic Church. She had five older brothers and sister Lazaro, Isadore, Juan, Elias and sister Esther Rocha. Her Flores brothers Francisco Jr., and Domingo. She was the older sister to Abel, Elias, Pedro, Esteban, and sister Tabitha. She was the one that took care of younger brothers and sisters while her parents were busy working, and at church. She was baptized at the age of 15 in the name of Jesus Christ at a convention in San Jose, CA. She married the love of her life Jose Avila at the age of 17. They were married 59 years. She loved her husband with all her heart, they were always together. She was the best wife and mother in the world. She loved her three children Liz, Joey, and Tabby. She helped raise all her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Service will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Apostolic Community Church. 7020 East Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823. Viewing 5 PM - 6 PM, service 6 PM - 8 PM. Funeral Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678 interment at Roseville Cemetery 421 Berry St., Roseville CA 95678. Reception at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, 506 Lincoln St., Roseville, CA 95678.
