Jennie Ruth Tellez, age 87, passed away December 9, 2010, at home in Roseville, California.

A memorial will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Boulevard.

Jennie was born April 24, 1923 to John and Annie Ussery in Rockingham, North Carolina. She loved gardening, hummingbirds, bus trips to Reno, and traveling with friends and family.

Jennie is survived by her daughter, Betty (Lynn) Styles; brothers: Everett (Judy), Marshall (Lottie), Earl (Barbara), and Tommie (Billie) Ussery; grandchildren: Susan (Bill) Forbes, Bobbi (Jim) Ziegler-Stephenson, Sherri Gager, Stephanie (Brad) Mehmen, Lynda (Mike) Laymance, Joe Tellez, Kevin and Miki Corley, and many great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by husband, Joseph Tellez, sister Margaret Pence, brother, Mack Ussery, son, Bobby Johnson and stepson, Dennis Tellez.
