Joyce Skellenger, a placer county resident for 81 years, died peacefully, surrounded by family, at a private home in Rocklin Ca, June 16th, 2023. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Arlie Skellenger; her daughters Reta (Skellenger) Smith, and Keren (Skellenger) Renick.
Joyce was a constant source of kindness, strength, and unconditional love for her family. She will be forever remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Jim Vlahos, her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Linda Skellenger. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, 26 great and 26 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, California 95678. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, California 95678. A burial will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Newcastle Cemetery, 850 Taylor Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658. A reception will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Blue Goose Event Center, 3550 Taylor Rd, Loomis, CA 95650.
Serving as pallbearers are Dustin Watters, Bryce Smith, Hunter Smith, Broc Jump, Blake Jump, Tony Calkins, Katie Cartago and Kendle Kulhavy.
