

On December 12th heaven received an angel; our sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 87. Julia Carrasco Pantoja will forever be missed by her husband, 1 sister, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. She was born in La Cruces, New Mexico on December 21, 1929 to the daughter of Guadalupe Casa. She married Manuel Pantoja in 1950 and quickly established a family birthing 5 children in 7 years from 1950 to 1957. They moved to Roseville, CA from Fresno, CA in 1955 where they enjoyed family gatherings in their home for 62 years.
Julia compassion and love are what made her such a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was extremely considerate always available to help her children and grandchildren when asked. She was an outstanding cook that always had enchiladas ready for visitors. Julia enjoyed daily conversations with her sister, weekly visits from her kids, grandchildren and would always host holiday dinners for the family. She treasured her trips with grandchildren to San Felipe, Mexico, Disneyland and Hawaii always collecting memorabilia from different locations. To pass time she enjoyed a good book or watching a Novela on TV while talking to her sister Nellie.
Julia Pantoja was a wonderful person and extraordinary women that is survived by her husband Manuel Pantoja, brother David, sister Nellie Garcia, daughters Julie Fuentes, Dora Navarrete, Guadalupe Pantoja, sons Manuel Pantoja and Joe Pantoja. Preceded in death by her mother Guadalupe, 1 brother and 1 grandchild. Please come celebrate her life during the following days. The viewing will be at the Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678 Wednesday, December 20, 2017 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Saint Rose Church 615 Vine Ave, Roseville, CA 95678, Thursday December 21, 2017 at 10 AM.
