Kathleen Kay Ellen Carr

Passed on December 24th, 2010. She was born in New York City to Arthur and Elizabeth McGill where she was raised until after the death of her husband, Tom Carr, in 1970 when she moved with her children to Mountain View, California, where she made many new friends and many happy memories. In 2000 she moved to Granite Bay to be closer to her family. She was a warm and fun loving person with a great sense of humor and a quick wit. Her laughter will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and her sister, Elizabeth Ange, her brothers, James, John and Arthur, and survived by her brother, Frank McGill of Granite Bay, her daughter, Kathie Fowler (Shaun) of New York City, her son, Tom Carr of San Francisco, niece, Liz Hoyer (Bob) of Granite Bay, nephew, Gerard Ange of Palo Alto, grand niece and nephew, Alison Hoyer of Roseville, Rob Hoyer of San Francisco and cousin and dear friend, Bea Bemiss of Fort Jones. We wish to also thank the good people of Sutter Roseville Hospice for their extraordinary support and assistance. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 5th, 11 A.M. at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville. Inurnment to be at Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto. In lieu of flowers please make donations to either The Salvation Army, Sutter Roseville Hospice, or the SPCA.
