Our Aunt Olga was born in Roseville, California on July 1, 1928 to Ysidro and Luz Benitez. She passed away August 16, 2020. She is preceded in death by her siblings Guillermo, John, Joaquin, Theodore, Margaret, Esther and Dolly. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Aunt Olga worked at the McClellan Air Force Base for over 35 years; there she did many different jobs from working in the library keeping track of training manuals to working on the B-24 bombers doing sheet metal repair work. She was a real Rosie the Riveter.
One of Aunt Olga’s passions in life was dancing. She enjoyed all types of dances and was an accomplished dancer. She spent many nights on the dance floor. Olga also loved to travel and she traveled around the world and throughout the United States.
Aunt Olga will be dearly missed. Her funeral will be held on August 27, 2020 at 9:30am at St. Rose Church 615 Vine St. Roseville, CA 95678. Burial to follow at Rocklin Cemetery.
