Patsie is survived by daughters Joy (& John) Rapp, Nina (Chloe) (& Ryan) Saul, and Meghan (& Spencer) Taylor; grandchildren Michael (& Cindy) Yturri, Oliver, Lilah, Silas, Ruby, Ellen, and Leo Saul; great-grandson Aiden Yturri; sisters Kristine (& Larry) Frost and Nina Knight; and brother Mark Munoz.
Patsie was a fiery, stubborn, spiritual, sentimental, and incredibly kind soul. To know her was to love her and to occasionally be stymied by her. She had a great sense of humor that saw her through life's difficult moments, and she was an ambassador to all animals (and caretaker of cats Caramel, Dot, Little Egypt, and Clarawanda). She loved her family hard; no gift was better than a family gathering, and Family Game Night topped them all. No matter where she lived, one room was dedicated to her grandchildren, filled with toys from her childhood, games, and comfy spots to lounge and play. Her bookshelves are overflowing with topics ranging from every kind of spirituality to classics by Charles Dickens. She loved to prepare "salad" for her chickens (Irene, Mamie, and Helen), and lovingly tend to the many plants that filled her home, patio, and yard. Her house always had a special brand of cozy that cannot be replicated.
As we mourn the loss of her in our daily lives, we know her spirit thrives, and that she will live on through those who knew and loved her. Although she threatened to haunt us should we defy her wishes to have no funeral or service of any kind, we are taking our chances and will be gathering to lovingly remember her on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
(Please contact Patsie's family for the location address via email [[email protected]] or Facebook messenger.)
