Patrick Joseph Lynch

Born on February 8, 1950 in San Pedro, California, passed away on July 24, 2012 at his home in Granite Bay, California. Patrick graduated from San Juan High School in 1967. he completed his Bachelor of Science with honors in Business Administration as well as a Master's in finance at CSU, Sacramento. he did this while working full time in the Grocery industry. Patrick worked for Big -Boy markets, Lucky Grocery, Gemco, Ralph's and finally owning Grocery outlets at multiple locations with the most recent in Ukiah, California. While in Ukiah, he was active in Kiwanis, was a spokesman on a monthly radio show on the plight of the hungry, which he donated on a weekly basis food to feed the hungry. he was also active in organizations for the homeless in the Ukiah area.

By far, the most important thing to him was his family. With his family he enjoyed celebrations, family dinners, golfing, boating, beach vacations and camping.

Patrick's grandchildren were near and dear to him as he enjoyed spending time teaching them chess, checkers, an appreciation of animal life and excursions to educational places.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Dee Ann, His children, Christine Young, Richard Lynch, Scott Goehring (Terri), Jennifer Umberger (George), and Kristen Manchester (Brian), Grandchildren, Sean Woulfe, Tiffany Young, Abigail, George, Olivia, Will, Colin, Georgia, Corrina, and Malicio.

Also, will be greatly missed by his siblings, Kathy Dean, Allan Nunn, and Margie Jacobs. Patrick was a hardworking, generous, loving and kind man who will be missed by all who knew him. A special friendship of over 50 years with Christopher McKinney was valued greatly by Patrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Pendergast and Patrick Lynch.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday July 30th, at 11:00 at Lambert Funeral home chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, California.
