Ramona Miller Swaney- Simmons August 19, 1938 – May 4, 2021 Roseville, California - Ramona passed peacefully in her sleep on May 4, 2021. Proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Opal Miller, her sisters, Sherry, Melba, Merle and Mary, and her brothers, Ray (Butch), Jim, Rick, Paul and Don, her youngest son Brad, and the love of her life, Douglas Swaney-Simmons. She is survived by her daughter Clarice and sons David and Jon. She leaves a legacy of 4 grandchildren.
Born in Nevada City, she lived in Nevada County most of her childhood and graduated from Nevada Union High in 1956. Ramona spent her adult life living in Roseville and Sacramento and proudly retired from Sacramento County.
Ramona will always be remembered for her contagious smile and joyful spirit. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 am on Thursday, May 13, at the Roseville Cemetery located at 421 Berry Street Roseville, CA 95678.
