

Raymond Otto Ille Jr was born on February 20, 1931 to Raymond and Opal Ille in Hobart , Oklahoma. Raymond grew up on small farms in Southwestern Oklahoma near Grandfield and Temple. He went to high school in Temple, Oklahoma and furthered his education at Oklahoma State University, earning a bachelor's degree in animal husbandry.
Raymond attended Air Force ROTC summer camp outside of Rosewell, NM prior to earning his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Spring of 1953. Raymond spent a total of 22 years in the Air Force as a Command Pilot flying worldwide missions in transport aircraft. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Raymond had 2 other long and successful Civilian careers with Bank of America (27 years) and The Farm Credit Administration, (almost 6 years.).
Raymond lived the past 26 years in the Del Webb Sun City Community in Roseville. He worked the Citizen Security Patrol Team and he served for two years as the President of the Veterans Club.
He was a long time member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Roseville and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Member.
Raymond was a wonderful man dedicated to his wife and family. He was a provider, honorable, generous, and proud. His work ethics were immeasurable.
Raymond Otto Ille Jr. is preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Ille. He is survived by his five children: Joan Ille, Charles (Carol) Ille, Janet (John) Bianchi, Camille Burks, and Patricia Hidy, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Raymond is also survived by a brother, Billy Ille of Oklahoma. Raymond will be laid to rest at the Sacramento National Veterans Cemetery.
