Wendy Maureen Pitchford

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that our cherished mother, Wendy Maureen Pitchford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children and family.

Originally from Exning, England, our Mom was a radiant force of strength, grace, and unwavering love. Despite enduring many years of chronic health challenges, she faced every obstacle with courage, resilience, and the elegant British poise that defined her.

During her lifetime, our beloved Mom created legacy roots in Nevada City, Auburn and Rocklin. Wendy had a passion for family, friends, music and found great joy in worshiping her Lord and Savior. She also shared her beautiful talents and leadership while working for Pacific Bell.

To us, Wendy was more than just a mother—she was our guiding light, our matriarch, our goddess who truly shaped who we all are. Her boundless compassion, sharp wit, and that beautiful, brilliant smile made her presence unforgettable to all who knew her.

Wendy had a profound faith in God and a deep, unconditional love for her family and friends. Being by her side as she transitioned was both heartbreaking and an immense honor. While our hearts are heavy and the grief is indescribable, we find comfort in knowing she is now free from pain—singing, dancing, and reuniting with loved ones in Heaven.

Wendy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and grace that will continue to live on in each of us. We will carry her sweet spirit and the life lessons she instilled in our hearts forever. Honoring our wonderful mother and unconditional friend are her surviving children, Robert Wojcik, Robin Wojcik, Ryan Wojcik and Randy Wojcik, in addition to her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Services to honor our beloved Mom will be private and on behalf of the entire family, we thank you for your love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
