Today, as every day,,  I woke up, looked up and thanked God for having  had  my amazing aunt in my life.  
We shared  good times, bad times, laughter, tears,  and yet through it all, she was always there with her forever giving and loving heart, to  put the joy in Joy.
I miss you auntie, but you will will always be alive  in my heart, laughing your laugh and 
singing your song…..

hey lady miss you so much thinking of you and taking you to the dollar tree to buy you candy and small cans of coke. going to breakfast with you.you will be missed greatly but look at it this way you and mom can finish that game of rummy. love you joyce

Auntie Joy was a wonderful, caring and generous lady. I will always remember and be grateful for the time she gave to stay with and care for Paul. 
Her smile and her laugh will be greatly missed. 

Never a dull moment with Joyce; always smiling, up for a good time, and she loved all and was loved by all. Those memories can never be taken away from her family. Blessed to have met and spend some times with her (and maybe learned a few new "words")! Rest in Peace young lady!

Dearest Joyce...I remember the first time I met you in the mid 1970s. You had the brightest smile and heartiest laugh. You made me feel Welcomed.  And now Heaven has Welcomed You With Open Arms.

LIKE TO CORRECT MY STATEMENTS FROM EARLIER HER BEST FRIEND WAS NAME DIZZY IN JOYCES EYES THEY WERE SO CLOSE . THAT JOYCE AND HER WERE INSEPARABLE. TALKED EVERY OTHER DAY IF NOT EVERY DAY. THAT BROUGHT JOYCE AND HER FAMILY TO US. AND SHE WILL BE MISSED BY DIZZYS GIRLS.

Always her grandchildren's biggest fan!!! 

HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES BUT THE ONE THING THAT I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS YOUNGER JUST GOT HOME FROM SCHOOL TO FIND MY MOTHER WHO GREW UP WITH JOYCE THEY WERE CLOSE FRIENDS. AND KEPT IN TOUCH ALL THEIR YOUNGER AND OLDER YEARS .THEY WERE EATING SALTINE CRACKERS AND ANCHOVIES AND PLAYING RUMMY JUST LAUGHING.  DOING THE LAUNDRY.

My aunt Joy was so aptly named, as she added so much joy to the lives of all who crossed her path. Her infectious laugh, her loving and compassionate heart, were hallmarks of her life. She would always, without hesitance, give of her time and her resources, to come to the aid of friends and family, who she loved deeply.  In short, she was a saint. I consider it a true honor and privilege to have been named after her.  
I will hold you forever in my heart with reverence and abiding love.
