Charles Raymond Bowers

Bowers, Charles Raymond - 74 of Warren, Michigan, entered into heaven on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Charles was a Vietnam War Veteran stationed in Würzburg, Germany, where he served with the 3rd Battalion, 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, Company B and with HB 2nd Battalion, 56th Artillery. Charles was an avid reader and was a twice published author. Charles was a member of the Eastside Alano Club located in Warren, Michigan, where he was known as a kind man and was loved by many. Charles loved his family and friends unconditionally. Charles is survived by his son Brad Wingert of Bonaire, Georgia, his daughter Jessica (Matthew) Julian of Chesterfield, Michigan, his granddaughter Novalee Wingert, his grandson Colin Julian, his sisters Sue (Mark) Welsh of Warren, Michigan and Sharon Liendo of Davenport, Iowa, his brothers Thomas (Jackie) Bowers of Kimberling City, Missouri and Kenneth (Cathy) Bowers of Warren, Michigan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Jean Henderson, his father Lee Henderson and brother Ronald Bowers. Burial will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, Illinois at a future date.
