Dear God, I humbly come before You with a heavy heart. I pray that as Davids family and friends go through this season of sorrow, You would show them your love and grace. Help them to find peace in Your presence. Wipe their tears, Lord, and carry them through this season of mourning and deep sadness.Help them to trust in Your unfailing love and to fix their eyes on You, Jesus. As they lift their worries to You, I humbly ask that You lift up their hearts from this grief that overwhelms them.May Your presence bring them joy and comfort they embark on this journey of healing with You. In Your most holy name, I pray. Amen

We met by you just needing a little extra help in the winter. So I came by to assist. What I didn't know that day was that my life for the next year would be changed forever. David you went out of your way to get the community involved to surprise me with a bunch of gifts. Just for doing something so simple on volunteering my help to you. I know I didn't have to do it for free. But I wanted to. For the next month I continued to help you went and surprised me with so many amazing things. That's not what caused me to love you as though you were my uncle no. It wasn't until a month later that the surprise came. You and I became close and created a bond. I would come over each day to see if you needed any help and just sit and talk about video games, what's going on in life, and sometimes have a little snack. Each day after that I made it my routine to at least stop by and say hi. As we both know you had appointments and I had school. Summer came and school was out. You pushed me and gave me confidence to start my own lawn care buisness. Saying I got what it takes. You were right. But man would you not allow me to come and do your lawn for free tho. You said where we live could do it. I done enough for you. The the thing is. I just wanted a reason to come and visit you. I think you knew that tho. You would have me come in and help with little tasks or just call me when you needed me to open the door. Lol. That led to you and I having conversation and joking around. To once a week coming over for lunch with you. As well as taking me to your own families houses for bbq's and fireworks. The bond we shared was something I will remember for a lifetime. You know the details about my family past. You were there for me and showed me not all men are the same. You gave me a family member I needed. It may not been by blood but it was sure enough by heart. I really wish I got to say goodbye one last time. I miss you David. Watch over me please.

Tomorrow will be hard my brother. You were always a great loving friend, but most importantly you were a loving father even through your pain. You were strong brother. You overcame more than any human is supposed to, but did it with a smile. Yes it’s easy to disagree on irrelevant matters, but you were due diligent with your facts & that’s you. You hated to lose. We were inseparable at one moment in our lives. I’ll never hear an **NSYNC song and not think of you. You sitting at your backyard with me when I told you I was joining the military and you hugging me saying “don’t do it”.  I said I’ll be fine and I never came back the same. Your charisma was intoxicating. Strangers saw it . Bigger than life. I’ll always randomly hear a song and think of you. I miss you and I’m sure right, wrong , or indifferent…everyone that knew you does.

His friends were family! We will all miss him more than words could ever begin to describe.

 We are so very sorry for your loss…We can remember back when all the kids were babies, so many different memories thru the years. It seems like it wasn’t that long ago when they all played ball.
Even though we never agreed, it was fun to banter on FB, agree to disagree …:) May God watch over all of you, and give you peace, May David rest safely in Jesus arms.

So many fun memories we had bud. And all the many DJ gigs we used to do, between local bars and clubs to many awesome weddings. You even introduced me to my future wife! Will truly be missed. Glad we got to share some great times and lots of laughs. Deepest condolences and sympathies to Abby and rest of family.

I’ve never met David; only had communicated with him occasionally through his mom Geri.  Always seemed like a great guy who appreciated sports. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

Big guy with an even bigger heart. You will truly be missed my friend.

My dad he was my cuddle buddy he was my dad I go to for help but he has been so sick and god said it was time for him to go he missed treatments he just didn’t litsen to his parents when he was told to do what to do I was his little nurse his leg was so traumatized that he couldn’t even move I love u dad!!!!

He got me some awsome shoes for school and idk who’s gonna keep buying them for me lol

I'm so going to miss you calling me Aunti.

My condolences to your sweet daughter, family and friends, 44 years is just not long enough. Your memory will not fade.
