Debra Lynn (Houghtaling) Johnson, age 60, of Warren, MI passed away on Saturday May 30, 2020. Debra was born June 6, 1959, in Roseville, MI, to Ernest & Zoe (Sandoff) Houghtling. She married Robert William Johnson on July 9, 1994, in Sterling Heights, MI.
Debra is survived by her husband Robert, children; Megan (Sara), Robert (Chloe), Brendan (Theresa) Johnson; granddaughter Lena Johnson-Biondo, siblings; Weldon (Betty) Houghtaling, Louise Smith, Charles (Bonnie) Houghtaling, Mary (Joe) Zerilli, Chris (Debbie) Houghtaling, in-laws; John Johnson, Rayne Aaron, Jeffery Johnson, Jennifer (John) Wanner, Barbra (Chris) Johnson, several nieces and nephews and The Soul Sisters. Debra was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law; Dave Smith and Lester Aaron.
Debra loved being a mom very much, she was a lot of fun and really enjoyed her family. She loved her job, she worked her way up from waitress to the Director of Human Resources. She was a very warm hostess and enjoyed travel and the summer months outdoors. Debra was a Member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she was very involved.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Relay for Life- Team Mission Possible in Debra's name.
A Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 26400 Little Mack Ave., St Clair Shores, MI 48081. A Burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township, Michigan.
