I am so sorry for your loss. Duane was a very special friend to me. We reconnected after several years had gone by , by speaking on the phone. We had intentions of getting together some day, but unfortunately never got the chance. We went to school together at Holy Name Of Jesus for many years. Duane and myself, had many great memories and stories from those great years. I am so saddened that, I never got to see him again. He was always so fun, happy and great to be around!May I please ask , what was the cause of his passing ? I will always miss his sense of humor , that always brought me so much joy and laughter! God gained another angel . Bye for now, my sweet friend. Love you 🥰

I  come  to this page everyday and I read it everyday and I’m still in disbelief like are you really gone . I’m so shattered Duane . Till we meet again know I love you and miss you  so much .  Our hearts are broken

Duane I still can’t believe this , it’s like a bad dream . I will treasure all our memories . You were so loved by all of us and you will always be in our thoughts and heart . I’m jealous that your with Mom , Danielle,Darin and gramma and grandpa I’m sure they were all waiting for you with open arms and I’m sure you made a big entrance dance lol I love you and miss you soooo much. 

Love and miss you like crazy. Thank you for everything you have done for the family. Family gatherings will never be the same without you. I am great full that you and I became very close. We looked out after each other and had a great time. Many bbq’s cooking and going places together. It was with great pleasure that we loved together. I love you Duane. Love Kevin.

It’s so hard for me to come to this site because I’m still in disbelief that you are not here. My heart is so broken. I will remember all the good times we had together. And I will miss all our texts goodnight and good morning. You were such a caring person. And you had a heart of gold. Always looking after and helping so many people. Everyone loved you. Your smile and goofy ways. I know you are with all our love ones in Heaven. And watching over all of us.  I will miss and love you forever. Until we meet again. 

Duane I am so broken this is not fair . Just knowing we will never see you at the gatherings , never see you at Kevin’s , never hang out and laugh are butts off, and must importantly never get that text message . Hi my Brother, it's been awhile since we spoke. You always beamed whenever I told you we shared a special bond together in life. So many beautiful memories aside from our indifferences. I remember how we would always end our nights by texting I love you. You asked me why I didn't capitalize the letter L in love like you did and after that I always did. Whenever I told someone to tell you "I Love you" I would tell them to tell you "With a capital L" and they would say you smiled. I remember how you would say your prayers at night before bed and last night I said a prayer, first time in a long time. I asked God to tell you how very sorry I was for our recent falling out and for my not reaching out to you in reply to your wanting to talk things out. Now I will have to forever live with that pain in my heart. It goes without saying that we loved each other regardless of our recent indifferences. I finished my prayer last night by asking God if he could just grant me one wish and tell you I Love you ... with a capital L. 

You will be so badly missed Duane. Thank you for always being there to talk, to lend a hand with projects I had around the house. I’ll always remember the rule “measure twice, cut once”. You were always the person looking for something to do for other and so selfless it was at times angelic. Rest peacefully my brother I love you.

Duane you were one to say let’s take a picture got to have a picture whenever we were together and I’m glad you did otherwise I wouldn’t  have any of us  together . I love you and miss you I am so broken right now you just don’t know . Till we meet again watch over all of us . R.I.P 

I will never forget all the fun we would have doing arts and crafts. We would make flower pens to coloring Easter eggs. You always made us laugh with your funny faces and goofy accent’s. You made us feel like we could buy anything in the store even if it was from the dollar store and we only have $5 dollars a piece to spend lol. You will always be loved by me and my family and definitely never forgotten Rest In Peace may you have eternal joy and laughter in the after life

RIP my dear cousin.  I will always love you.  I have so many wonderful memories of us all growing up together that I cherish deeply.  I miss those times especially now as we all grow older.  I remember us as kids laughing and playing both in Ohio and Michigan.  Grilling and swimming in our backyard you guys always got up early while we slept late.  We weren’t rich in money but we were rich in love for our family.  My favorite memories were of us  as adults visiting Grams and we’d stay up late smoking, drinking, laughing, playing cards and telling stories.  I miss that and I miss you.  Now there is no more pain cousin just the joy of being surrounded by our deceased family that we all miss and will be with someday.  Give them all a hug from us left behind til we are reunited again.  Love always your cousin Gerry

Met Duane through my son Brian. Came to love him deeply. Duane was such a delightful person   Very loving and caring. He will live in our hearts forever. My condolences to the family.
