Elizabeth Amy Land

She served actively over ten years in the US Navy and ultimately retired in the US Navy reserve. Her second career was as a GS worker at Selfridge Air National Guard Base located in Macomb County Michigan. She retired from this career in 2020.

Her passion and immediate family was her animals. She loved Horses and was an avid Equestrian from teenage years throughout the rest of her life. Her best human friends were those that shared her passion. She loved reading and not often found without a book or an electrical device she could read eBooks on. Her favorite hobby was cross stitching. Most recent interest was in physical fitness. She enjoyed bicycling at Dodge Park Sterling Heights and Stony Creek Metropark with her brother, James. She also liked working out at a gym before they were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She will be missed by her family and friends. But will always be in the memories of those who cared for her the most. Cremation has taken place.
