Grace A Washburn

Grace Ann Washburn was born on September 30, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry Daniel & Lillian Ann (Smith) Shaffer. She passed away December 10, 2014. Was a loving wife, mother of four. She decided to go to heaven earlier than later, she just couldn't wait for me. She always told me I didn't have to stay around if I felt being with her was a problem. Some how I just knew she was the woman for me. I loved her so much we made a life together 27 years and thought it would last forever...wrong, it ended so fast...OK, the joke is over...come home now where you belong...you know, with me.It's no problem honey I love you, I will always love you. You are the love of my life. You were the strongest woman I have ever known, besides me of course ! Family, family, family is all I have to say...123 I love you, is the last words we said to each other...I am glad we did. My love for you will go on forever and ever. With all my heart sweetheart, Love, yours truly, Kathleen (married March 20, 1988).

Grace is survived by her children, Kevin (Gerrie) Horsley, David (Linda) Horsley, Kim Horsley and Daniel (Traci) Horsley; grandchildren, D.J., Nicolette, Daniel, Alyssa, Madison, Kealy, Starr, Aaron, Brenden, Lucas and Michael; great-granddaughters, Ryleigh, Brooklyn, Aubree and Sophia; brothers, Ronald and Edward Shaffer.
