James L. Hollifield

James L. Hollifield, age 83, passed away on December 5, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joann; loving children: Brian (Charity), Carrie, the late David; dear grandchildren: Dylan (Jenna) McAllister, Bethany Hall, Brianne, Caden, Evin, Blake; and sisters: Darlene, Louise, and Lorraine. James was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde Hollifield and Rosa Hollifield (Waters) and siblings: Lucille, Helen, Charles, and Curtis. Also left to cherish his memory are many loving nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Air Force as a medic. James retired from Chrysler. He loved going to the casino and horse racing. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball. James was a very generous man and had a love for his family and friends. Visitation, Friday, December 12, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville.
