James Jacob Schmidt, age 73, of Center Line. Died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St John-Macomb Hospital in Warren. James was born April 30, 1945 in Detroit to the late Jacob & Alice (Carter) Schmidt. He married Audrey Dodgeson in Center Line, she died in May of 2009. James will be sadly missed by his daughter; Nancy Warner, grandchildren; Jennifer (Anthony) Urban, Mark Williams, great-granddaughter; Taylor Stadler and his dear friend Carol Curtis.
James was very proud of his time served in the United States Army, he was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, he received both A Silver Star and Purple Heart.
A Funeral Service will be held 10AM Thursday, September 6 at Kaul Funeral Home-Roseville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8PM at the Funeral Home. Burial with Honors to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens-East. Share a memory with the family at www.kaulfuneralhome.com
