A man who found beauty in every corner of life, John was a lifelong lover of art. He enjoyed the local outdoor concerts, where he spent countless summer evenings soaking in the music and the community he loved so dearly.
John served his country with honor as a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. His time in the service shaped his character, instilling in him a sense of duty and a quiet strength that stayed with him throughout his life.
Proud uncle to Danny Griffey, Richard Mieszkowski and Jennifer Griffin. Dearest brother of Ella Mieszkowski and Julie Shiller. John was predeceased by his parents, Michael Mieszkowski and Jeanette Chmura, his brother Richard Mieszkowski and his sister, Barbara Griffey. John is also survived by his cousins.
