Kirk Mitchell Cornelius

Kirk Mitchell Cornelius, 63, of Roseville passed away May 09, 2022 as a result of a brief illness. Kirk was born in Mt. Clemens to Michael and Silva Cornelius (Pitt) on May 03, 1959. Kirk was a longtime resident of Roseville, attending Roseville schools and graduating from Roseville High School in 1977. Kirk was a skilled tradesman, who spent his adult years working as a pipe fitter for Stellantis (Chrysler). Kirk enjoyed spending time with his wife Cindi, sons Anthony and Sean, and grandson Dakota. He loved the outdoors, especially visiting his beloved Belle Isle, playing with his dogs, shooting craps at the Motor City Casino and following Detroit sports and Nevada football. Those who love Kirk, appreciated his dry, witty, sense of humor and his easy going personality. Kirk is survived by his wife Cindi Howard Cornelius, sons Anthony and Sean Cornelius, grandson Dakota Cornelius, Cindi’s children, Brandi (Justin) Starck and Todd Howard and grandchildren, Grant and Grayson Starck, Julia, Colby, and Jorja Howard, his father Michael Cornelius, and siblings Rickey, Michelle, Michael, Stephen, Scott, Stacey, Jodie and Kristy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Silva and siblings, Terry and Cindy. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.
