Yesterday august 29, was our 60th Wedding anniversary and the boys and Mary Ellen took us to a nice restaurant.  Leonard who was a great friend passed away on August 30, and we miss him

Len was a great brother-in-law, stated at his house many times and we golfed, fished and played Euchre.  Also went on vacation trips with him and sister-in-laws.  Miss him and his sense of humor and friendship.

RIP Uncle Leonard. We all loved you. You were such a good man and lived your life to the fullest.

Uncle Len was a very special man in my life.  Loved that man.  Kurt put me in a golf cart one year in mesquite with Uncle Len. It was a Duncan foursome. Uncle Len. Kurt. Cuz John and myself. Out of the blue i ask him. What is it that keeps you so young at your age. He didnt even blink an eye. Family. A cold Bud and Copenhagen.  It worked wonders for uncle Len. He will be missed. But never forgotten. RIP Uncle Len. Aunt Joyce has been waiting for yo

I always appreciated Uncle Len allowing me to stay with him when I came back to Michigan from time to time.  The first time my wife and I stayed with him in the attic bedroom, there were squirrels in the attic.  My wife was frightened and so was Uncle Len!  He made us waffles in a waffle maker that was at least 50 years old and the waffles were the best!

On a golfing trip to Mesquite, NV, Uncle Len was at the Casino and Derek and I were ready for bed.  Yet Uncle Len said he could not go to bed too early, so we all played nickel slots for a couple hours until Uncle Len was ready for bed.

Uncle Len was a great man and I always enjoyed spending time with him.  His laugh and smile was infectious.  Kurt said it best," Heaven is getting a good one."  Great father, great grandfather, great Uncle!

Len was a great brother-in-law and when Gloria and I visited Michigan we usually would stay with Len at his house.  He would make us breakfast and then on many nights we would have dinner and play Euchre with him.  I always tried to play golf with him and then we would have a couple of beers and play Euchre with his friends..  
May he rest in peace and he is probably playing golf and Euchre in heaven. 

Len was a sweet, caring man who always had a smile on his face.  I’m going to miss not being able to have you over for New Years Day dinner.  
I’m proud to have had you as a brother-in-law.  Gloria and I liked how you joked with both of us about each of us being your favorite sister-in-law.   Love ❤️ you!!

We will truly miss you our favorite Uncle. We are so happy to have our roses for December in our hearts

There isn’t enough space to list a lifetime of memories with you. From trips  to the cottage, grandparents day at school, family vacations, and supporting me at my sporting events. You loved to watch your grandkids play sports. I’m so grateful my kids were able to get to know and love you. Thanks for the memories grandpa!! 

In memory of Uncle Len,
Whenever my family made a trip back to Michigan from Pennsylvania, seeing you was always a special part of that. I remember your house and the good times there with everyone. Your kind smile, witty humor, and pleasant demeanor always made me feel welcome. One of my favorite memories was golfing with you. Another one was going to see the Tigers play at Comerica. You landed us awesome seats from an usher you knew and gave me a Tigers hat. Whenever I wore it, I'd think of you. Now that you're in heaven it means even more. Len you were a great man and a wonderful uncle that I'm proud to have known. Rest easy in heaven and know I'll always have great memories of you.     Love, Eddie

When I was younger papa was my buddy at Michigan football games. We sat next to each other and we always would have our peanuts to share. 

I invited him over to watch his favorite movie,  Smoky and the Bandit, a year or two ago and he got himself all bundled up under the blanket to watch. 

He always came over to our house for Christmas and would spend a couple nights with us. A couple years ago it snowed and my dad went to plow the driveway. Papa being stubborn insisted that he help. He always tried doing things, he didn’t like sitting while  others took care of him.
