From the first time I met Lucille I was taken by her great smile & sense of humor.  She was always welcoming & truly happy to see you, a truly genuine person. She always had a story & ear for yours. She loved to dance & dance & dance & was so young at heart.  There is not much more I can say that hasn't already been said, because she has touched so many people in her life.  I believe Heaven is better for having her & I am better for having had the privilege of knowing her.  Long ago, when my mother died, our priest told us not to pray for her, but to her, because she was now a saint in Heaven.  Dan, Ray, Marilyn, Dave & the rest of the family that is my what I would say to you.  Remember & celebrate her life, she showed you how. I first met Lucille a few years ago at Sacred Heart parish. She and I sang at the big anniversary mass. We saw each other every Saturday at the evening mass....my best memory of Lucille was when we were both going to let our hair grow long. Every week Lucille told me how pretty my hair was getting , I told her that her was pretty too. I would say " I am going to cut it off !" She said "No!" Finally after about 3 months , neither of us could stand it, and we both cut our hair. Lucille always had a warm smile....a hug and kiss for me and always told me she loved me! I will miss my very special little angel!

Thank you for so many random moments of laughter. Thank you for finding your inner child and always being the life of the party. Thank you for always being a part of our family and never missing a moment. From dance recitals to graduation, from birthday parties to Christmas parties, from my wedding shower to my wedding day. You were always there, and always with a smile and love in your heart. You mean the world to our family; You mean the world to me. You were like another grandmother to me, and for that I am eternally grateful. Please know that I love you very much. Make sure you and Grandma Joan save a drink and a dance for me when I eventually come to meet you one day. I will never forget you Aunt Lou

We became friends in a First Sunday group (for grieving parents) about 30 years ago. The death of our precious sons drew us together. After First Sunday, a small group of us shared tears & laughter during the many good times we had with Father DuCharme before his death. Over the years we continued to get together for lunch even when it was just you and I.
Your sweet, loving spirit will be missed and you will never be forgotten. As we used to say to each other "love you".

I will miss my Aunt Lou.  She touched so many lives with her amazing inner strength, kind spirit and warm smile.  While in the hospital she asked "Did my life have a purpose?  Do you think I touched others? I need to know that my life made a difference." I realize today, that there were not enough hours in the day to remind her of all of the self-less acts she performed, during her incredible life. The hours she spent donating her time to charities, school children, family, and friends. Your gifts in Heaven will be many Aunt Lou.  I pray I can one day look back on my life and be half the person you were. I will miss you so much, My Beloved Red Head.....

Lucille was my mom's cousin, also. It was always fun times at family functions with Lucille. She will be missed by all. Heaven has another Angel!

Beloved Lucille was a cousin to my Mom and a second cousin to me. As a child> I remember spending Sundays at my Busia and DziaDzia's house with Lucille and her sisters. As an adult, I had many occasions to host Lucille at family functions.  I will always remember her laughter and love of life.  Heaven just welcomed another angel!  Rest in Peace, dear Lucille.

Aunt Lu was also like a second mother to me also. She was there for me when needed her. She always asked how my wife's parents are doing. She will be missed by all that knew her. may she rest in peace.

The earth will never be the same without Auntie Lou in it.  Like a second mother to me and my siblings and the only grandmother figure that my children have ever known.  The matriarch of the family and the one that you would always turn to in times of happiness or sorrow.  A wonderful example of the strongest, kindest person in the world.  I hope she is now doing the polka with her sisters. I miss her dearly already.

I met Lucille through our First Sunday group, for parents who had lost a child.  A few of us would meet every year for a luncheon at Red Lobster, and we always had such a good visit.  A very sweet and kind person, we will miss her. So very sorry for your loss.

 Dear Dan, Ray, Marilyn, Karen & Family,  So sad to hear of Aunt  Lu's passing. I will miss Her & her yearly x-mas card , always with a note to let me know  how the Family was doing. Was glad I got to see & stay with  Her & Danny when  I had to come to Mich. She will be greatly missed. Lucille and I met when I joined the bowling league at Continental Lanes (when they were still open). She welcomed me into the group with open arms. I also loved going to the casino with her and friends Marlene and Joan. It was so much fun. I'm going to miss her dearly. My condolences to the family. Lucille was one of a kind. Rest in peace Lucille. It's been a great honor to meet and know you as long as I have. Love and Hugs to you.
