Aunt Marilyn I will miss you very much.  I know you are at peace but I still wish you were here.  You will always be the best ever.

Marilyn and her legacy to our community will be treasured a long time.  She was a true friend with a loving and honest heart.  I know she is laughing and happy with God now.

Marilyn has been a big part of my, and my family's, life for close to 12 years. I have had the good fortune of working with her and forming a wonderful friendship. She was always there to lend support, words of advice or a shoulder to cry on. Being a friend of Bill W., she was there to encourage, lift and shelter those who needed her and what the Program had to offer. I know that it saved her life and made her the strong person that she was. Marilyn and I saw each other through many life transitions. We didn't always see things the same way, but at the end of the day, we had love and respect for each other. She also had the utmost respect for her job and never gave less than 100%. Marilyn meant so much to many people and shared her life lessons. Two of the lessons that I will be ever thankful for learning: There is no time for regret, so we must all march forth and live life to the fullest. Also, there is nothing wrong with being given a second, third or fourth chance. After all, no one is perfect. Marilyn will always be alive in my heart and I know that I'm truly blessed for having had her in my life. I love you, Marilyn, my "Goofy" friend.

Two of the most valuable lessons are to not waste time with regret and that everyone is worthy of a second, or third, chance. I am truly blessed to have had her in my life. Marilyn knew me better than most people do and I will miss her dearly.
