Melissa Ann Murphy, age 38, formerly of Roseville Michigan, died on November 2nd, 2018. Melissa leaves behind people who loved her and never stopped hoping for a brighter future including her mother Susan Payne, stepfather Robert Payne, and her brother Robert Jackson.
Her much loved cat ‘Annie’ brought her joy. Her friend Elizabeth stood by “no matter what”. She is survived by her sister April Richardson (nee Murphy), husband Dan and son Quinlan.
Melissa would want to be remembered for her raucous sense of humor, her skill as a hairdresser, and her love of animals, which remained intact no matter how difficult her path became.
A gathering for friends and family will be held on Friday November 16th at the Cloverleaf Bar & Grill, 24443 Gratiot, Eastpointe MI 48021 between the hours of 4pm-8pm.
