I just found out Raelene passed.  And I'm not surprised all the memories that are posted.  She was beloved by all she met.  She never met a stranger.  
I met Raelene in nov, 2016.  She married us.  From that point on, we were friends.  She helped me when I was having a rough time with a rescue.  She was hilarious, big hearted, generous and kind.  
I always said "we need to go out for a beer" but it never happened.  I knew if we did we would spend the evening in tears - from laughing so much.
To her family, close friends and NBS,  I'm so very sorry for your loss.  But I hope you take comfort in knowing, as I said earlier, "she never met a stranger bc they were "immediate friends".

We were so happy that Raelene agreed to marry us in August of 2021. We adopted our puggle, DeeDee many years ago from NBS. Raelene told us that we were the family she needed. We instantly connected. Raelene’s heart is beyond huge. A true angel on Earth. 
We were blessed to have known this kind soul.

This is from 7th grade when I first met Raelene.  She went to our rival high school and we lost touch.  We reconnected after many years and I would see her once in a while.  She always knew who was doing what when it came to old school friends.  She was very active and did many things.  I was very shocked when I found out about her and sadly, I found out after the funeral.   She will be missed by many, especially Hank and Drew.

I was so very sad to hear of Raelene's passing. We met through work and discovered we had a lot in common. We chatted frequently and I'll definitely miss taking to her (I already do). My thoughts go out to her family, friends and her two pups as well ❤️

I am so very sorry to hear of Raelenes passing. She was a force to be reckoned with.  A true Hero in my eyes to all of the animals that crossed her path.  A very helpful kind heart that helped all of Gods furry friends.   I talked to her at least a handful of times for advice.  Her fb posts always brought a smile to my face.  Raelene has also reminded me to start taking care of myself again as I always put everyone first, also.  I am also a heart patient and very lucky to be writing this. I feel very sad for her family and pets. We know she is in Heaven looking down at us.  She did God's work on this Earth and now it's her time to be at peace. May peace be with you Raelene and until we meet again so glad I got to know you and Thanks For Being A Friend.

I worked with her for years when she worked at a Wico and I work at Ford. We shared the passion for animals. She loved her family so much. 
Every time we talked it was always about her love for her nieces and nephews. Especially her nephew and his hip hop classes. It made me smile knowing even tho she didn’t have children of her own she sure made up for it with her nieces and nephews. 
The world and animals are losing a good one. Rest easy Rae Rae! 💔

Raelene was a wonderful amazing person. I only knew her for two years because I was trimming Drew’s nails. She was such a great advocate for animals. I know up in heaven they were all waiting at the rainbow bridge to welcome her. Rest in heaven Raelene. 

I am so sorry to hear this news. Raelene was simply the nicest, most funny, and dog savvy person I have had the pleasure to meet in rescue. We shared a fondness for snarky dogs. I am heartbroken to hear she is gone. I will miss her so very much.

Raelene was one of a kind.  She had the ability to make everyone she met literally laugh out loud, her humor had no bounds!

I am so sorry to hear of Raelene's passing. She and I talked at one of our Class Reunions, and became Facebook friends. I sure will miss her posts and all the stories of her fur babies.

I met Raelene while working at Wico Metal Products. I learned quickly that there was never a dull moment whenever Raelene was around. 
Her sense of humor and her love for animals will always stand out in my mind when I think about her. 
I always told her that she missed her calling as a private investigator. If you ever need to find out about anyone or anything you’d call Raelene and she would get the scoop! 
She had a big heart and will be missed by many. 
I smile (and giggle a little) thinking that Raelene is making little peanut butter sandwiches for all of the squirrels in heaven now. 


What an amazing woman she was.  She will be missed greatly.

Raelene is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Her giant heart and more giant sense of humor are what I will truly miss. I don’t think I ever heard her say a bad thing about anyone. Maybe a joke, which was absolutely funny, but never mean. I think the world will miss Rae. She was beautiful. 

Raelene, had the kindest heart for humans and  bigger for  4 legged animals.  She  was always willing to lend a hand, a heart, her time and her love. We are all better for knowing her.
