We lived across the street from the Carleton family. I remember her being the sweetest prettiest little lady. Always so kind and friendly. God Bless her and her family. xo

I am sorry to learn of the loss of Takako Kagami Carleton.
I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of her.
I would like to offer our prayers and condolences to you and your family from her parent’s home Gifu prefecture in Japan.
My name is Itaru Kagami of her nepfew.
In short my father is one of her seven brothers.
He was already passed away.
I cannot even begin to understand what you are going through right now.
I am here for you and I am praying for you to get through this.
She was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss her.
Her wonderful and gentle soul will forever live on in our hearts.

I was a Japanese language student of Takako-sama at Calsonic Kansei, and was always grateful for the education she provided in both the Japanese language, as well as the Japanese culture.  Her heartfelt stories of her own childhood in Japan during WWII has helped shape my understanding of the Japanese culture, and the resiliency of the human spirit.  Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to love one another, and Takako-sama embraced that virtue with her love for teaching and helping others.
May the Lord comfort her family and friends in their time of grief.

One of my most favorite people in the world.   She was always so sincere and always greeted me with open arms.  No problem was to hard to face and she always handled herself with grace.   She had such courage and determination in everything she did. I learned a lot from her and considered her to be one of my best friends. I will miss her dearly and treasure all the memories.
