

Roseville resident Wayne F. Crouse, age 76, passed away April 13, 2023. Wayne, a graduate of Fordson High School, Dearborn attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Wayne had an extensive journalism background that included working as a sports editor for the Detroit Free Press in the ‘60s and ‘70s. He worked for the Edmonton Sun as a gossip columnist in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in the ‘80s. In the ‘90s he was the public relations and marketing VP for Peace River Pulp in Peace River, Alberta, Canada until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan. He loved Beatles music and the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Team. He was predeceased by his parents John I. and Marjorie (Howard) Crouse. Beloved husband of Linda (Engles) Crouse for 49 years. Loving father of Wesley and Amanda (Fran Stenger-Crouse) Crouse. Dear brother of Gerald O. Crouse. Wayne will also be missed by his beloved dog, Elvis and his cats Marshall and Romeo.
