A. Irene Yann

A.Irene Yann,passed away with her daughters by her side, on Monday, April 28th, 2025, at the age of 91, in Milton, Georgia.

She was born on October 15, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Willie B and Sallie (Jaggers) Allen.

In 1955 she married the boy next door, LeRoy.

During her life she made a lasting impact on many friends and her community. She was involved with Young At Hearit, Adoration Chapel, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Welcome Wagon and Garden Club. She also started her own business, “Kids Photo ID”.

Roy and Irene were members of St. Mary Magdalen in Simpsonville, SC.

Irene is survived by her two daughters, Carla (Mark) Sullivan of Alpharetta, GA., Stacey (Dan) Lutes of Woodstock, Ga; four grandchildren, Kristen Sullivan (Alan Murphy), Pierce (Melody) Sullivan, Ryan Lutes, Jared Lutes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy F. Yann, parents Willie B and Sallie Jaggers Allen, brother in law, Jerry Yann and in-laws, Walter and Catherine Yann.

Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, May 16th at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home on 2723 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky. A service will follow at 1:00 at the Funeral Home, with burial to take place at Calvary Cemetery on Newburg Road, Louisville, Ky.

Irene’s kindness, great personality and enduring spirit will never be forgotten but will remain in all of our hearts forever.
