Andrew Reid Scott (Andy) the youngest son of Charles and Harlene Scott of Roswell, GA passed away unexpectedly at the home he shared with his wife Stacey Ray Scott in Cumming, GA in the early morning of Sunday August 28th 2016; he was 48.
Andy was the Vice President and Assistant Executive Manager of his family’s business, Regal Nissan in Roswell, GA.
“Kind soul”, “classy without being flashy”, “generous”, “witty” are some of the words shared by friends of the family regarding this most ardent of Georgia Bulldog fans. Andy will be remembered as a source of obscure knowledge in the days before the smartphone if there was a debate about who won the championship in 1960 or anything else, “Let’s call Andy” was the solution and he would settle the debate. More than that though his generosity will be remembered, his money, his time, a listening ear, and his larger than life laughter will be missed by those who knew him in the coming years.
Andy and his wife Stacey were married in January of this year. Though they had known each other since they were kids growing up in Roswell.
Andy is preceded in death by his father Charles Scott of Roswell. He is survived by his adoring wife Stacey Ray Scott of Cumming. He is also survived by his mother Harlene Scott of Roswell , his brother and Sister in Law Bo and Kristina Scott of Canton GA, nephews, niece and great nieces.
