Anita Ann Alexander, age 64, of Johns Creek, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 19th in Jacksonville, Florida after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Her husband of 38 years, Timothy, was by her side.
Anita was born on October 9th, 1956 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Robert and Janet Kidd. She was the youngest of three sisters. She excelled in grade school and was active in many extracurricular activities.
After high school, Anita joined the United States Marine Corps reaching the rank of Sergeant. While serving, she attended East Carolina University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Anita went on to become a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
Throughout her life, Anita was active in volunteer work as well as giving to charities. She was an avid traveler both for work and pleasure. She became a dear friend to many she met including those through church, her career, and volunteer work.
Anita was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband Timothy and their three children: Jennifer and husband Jason, Randall and wife Simona, and Nicholas; grandson Eli; and sisters Carol and Rose Mary.
A celebration of life for Anita will be held Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at 2pm at the Roswell Funeral Home at 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
