Arne P. Lidback passed away on November 10, 2013. Born on September 21, 1935, in Lima, Peru to parents of Swedish immigrants, Percival Alfred Lidback and Alice Richter, married Franca Carbone in Lima, Peru on February 27, 1960. They relocated from Lima, Peru, to New York City, Brazil, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Brussels, Belgium; Houston, Texas; and retired in Atlanta, Georgia. As a successful international executive in the chemical industry, he had tremendous respect from his clients and co-workers. His priority was his family. He was the utmost family man, husband, father and grandfather. He provided us unforgettable memories, with travel and living overseas. Throughout, he emphasized the importance of family and relationships which were nurtured around the world. Arne competed in golf as an international amateur player. His passion for the game of golf was passed on to his children and grandchildren. Arne was the definition of a Gentleman and stood by the value, “that as long as you have your family and health, everything has a solution”. Soto, thank you for everything, you will be missed by family, friends, and always be in our memories. Be in peace and in heaven, and always be sure your family loves you. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; four children, twins Annie & Percy (Sophia), Jenny and Alex (Susan). He cherished his nine grand children including Arne and Andrew Lidback; Roberto, Alex & Franco Castro; Gabriella, Julian, Francesca and Alexander Lidback. Services will be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church's Chapel on November 13, 2013 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or any Junior Golf Association.
