

Barbara Josephine Foster, 75, passed away in the presence of her brother, Paul Foster, in the early morning hours of January 25, 2025. Barbara was born in White Plains, New York. Her father served in the Air Force, and her mother served in a government Civil Service position at the Air Force bases they were assigned to, so Barbara was raised in a few different places. When Barbara was seven years old the family got stationed on Guam. Two years later they relocated to New Hampshire, and finally, in her high school years, to Homestead, Florida. Barbara is a graduate of South Dade High School.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, James Martin Foster, and Josephine Piacente Foster.
She is survived by her brother Paul E. Foster of Woodstock, Georgia; her son, Craig Pendleton of Roanoke, Virginia; her daughter, Marie Siegfried, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as well as four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren: Jacob Pendleton, Jackson Lee, Garrett Siegfried, Owen Siegfried, Jake Lee, Julia Lee, Elena Grace Siegfried.
Barbara also leaves six nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew.
Barbara loved to cook Italian food, and it brought her joy to make dinners for her family and friends. She spent many years working in Civil Service for the military and enjoyed accounting and bookkeeping.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
