Bernard "Sonny" Corcoran

Sonny, the beloved son of the late Denis and Nan Corcoran, left us August 15, 2010 after a brief illness in Georgia. Sonny was born in Hartford, Connecticut on May 14, 1943 and grew up in Wethersfield, CT. He served in the US Navy in the early 60’s and saw a lot of the world. Sonny never realized how many lives he touched. He had many friends and enjoyed them all. He loved his family and especially enjoyed being a grandpa to his four grandsons.

He leaves his four children, his son James (Bernard) Corcoran of East Hartford, CT; his daughter Stephanie Boisvert and her husband Robert of East Hartford, CT, his daughter Shana Harter and her husband Michael of Suwanee, GA, and his daughter Kelli Corcoran of Kennesaw, GA; his four grandsons, Jack Corcoran (10, CT), Jakeb Harter (18 months, GA), and Kyle McLea and Talan Corcoran (10 and 3, GA); his sister Mary Kay Scott and her husband Bernie of Wethersfield, CT; two nephews, Christopher Scott and his wife Maureen, and Timmy Scott; a niece, Tracy Sesko and her husband Bill; and two grandnieces, Emily Sesko and Sarah Scott, all of Wetherfield, CT. We will all miss him more than words can say. Sonny has always been forever young!
