

Betty was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother. She was known for her pleasant personality, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness towards others, and her dedication to her family and her church.
Throughout her life, Betty achieved many accomplishments in teaching students and being their Principal at Red Ash School in Raven Virginia. She also served as secretary and treasurer of her church for many years. Later, she worked as a cashier in a department store and grocery store and touched the lives of countless individuals through her kindness, generosity, and willingness to be of service wherever needed.
She will be deeply missed by her family, including her son & daughter-in-law James and Dana Wilson; grandchildren, Perry Wilson, Amanda Pullman, and Kaitlyn Zeh; great grandchild, Luna Zeh; brother & sister-in-law, John D. and Patricia VanDyke; sister, Billie Sue Beavers; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, Perry and Leola VanDyke; husband, Glen Wilson; brother, James Perry VanDyke, and sisters, Carrie Sisk and Irene Lipscomb.
A memorial service will be held on a later date to celebrate Betty's life and honor her contributions to our world.
