

Billie Jane Ruth Foil of Roswell, Georgia passed away on June 19, 2016 at North Fulton Hospital surrounded by her immediate family. She was born on October 11, 1939, the first child of Earl and Jane Ruth of Salisbury, North Carolina. She grew up on the campus of Catawba College and attended Salisbury city schools, graduating from Boyden High School in 1957 and Catawba College in 1960. Billie loved the Lord, valued family, and rejoiced in her grandchildren. In addition, she loved playing cards and board games with her family and friends~at times being somewhat competitive. She was unbelievably kind and compassionate, always putting others before herself. She was known as the life of the party and an incredible hostess with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Billie was the best Mimi to her grandchildren, a perfect mother to her three children, and the soul mate to her husband, Frank.
Billie married Frank Foil of Salisbury, North Carolina in 1961 and remained happily married for 55 years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank, and their son, Bradley Foil (Jennifer), and two daughters, Wesley Torretti (George) Olivia Ramsey, and ten grandchildren, Austin and Rylie Torretti, Logan, Tanner, Adam, Samantha, and Charli Ramsey, Ansley, Delaney, and Brady Foil. She is also survived by a brother, Wiley Ruth (Lucille), and two sisters, Marian Sanders and Jackie Burleson (Clay). A memorial service will be held at the Roswell Funeral Home at 950 Mansell Road Roswell, Georgia 30076 (770-993-4811) on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow.
