

Carlo Bitussi passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at age 57 after battling Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for two years. Carlo was born in Tolmezzo, Northern Italy on November 6, 1954; his family moved to South Africa in 1961 where he grew up. He graduated in 1978 with a B.Sc. Degree in Computers and Physics at the University of Natal, South Africa. He married Rosa James in 1980 in Durban, SA. In 1984 his daughter Flavia Maria Anna was born and in 1986 his son Ugo Sebastiano was born. He worked at Dunlop Tires, South Africa in the IT department. He then moved to Tongaat Huletts in the IT mainframe department in 1980 and finally joined Persetel IT in 1984 where he worked until 1999 when he moved his family to America. He joined CA Technologies while in Jackson, Mississippi in 2000 and in July of 2002 he moved his family to Alpharetta, GA. He was Principal Consultant for the South East territory. He was an upstanding, dedicated and professional employee and was sought after by his colleagues. He was a loving, caring and devoted husband and father; a great friend to all who knew him. He was one of the founders of RosaMia Ristorante Italiano, Johns Creek GA, opened in June 2007; and was loved and respected by all his employees and customers. He lit up a room wherever he went with his laughter; no-one who ever met Carlo forgot him.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Bitussi; his daughter and son, Flavia Bitussi and Ugo Bitussi; his future son-in-law, Bill Villarinho; his mother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anna James and Annamaria James of South Africa. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maria Teresa Bitussi in 2003 and Marino Bitussi in 2005. Carlo’s parents are resting in peace in their home town of Ravascletto, Italy where he too will be placed to rest.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11.00am at the Roswell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 10.15am until the service. Refreshments will be served after the service.
