Mr. Chane Joseph Carter, 76, of Sandy Springs, GA, passed away on January 21, 2011. He was born on January 21, 1935, in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He served with Rheem Canada from 1959-79, then moved to the U.S. and continued to serve with Rheem Manufactoring as Executive Vice President of Marketing until his retirement in 1999. He was a long time member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club. He is survived by his loving family which includes his devoted wife of 51 years, Jean; his daughters, Cathy (Eric) Karell, Johns Creek and Cara (Mike) Fuller, Roswell; granddaughters, Jessica and Jonathan Karell; brothers, John (Mary) Carter, Peterborough, Bob (Marie) Carter, Parry Sound, Jimmy (Linda) Carter, Peterborough; sisters, Joanne (Brent) Ballantyne, Elmira and Sheila (Ed) Moore, Ottawa; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3-4 P.M. and the Life Celebration Service will be held at 4 P.M. , Mon., Jan. 24, 2011 both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA, 30076.
