Chuck spent forty years married to Kathy, the absolute light of his life. Their love story is like no other. It included building a successful corporation from nothing to a thriving thirty-five year endeavor that served hundreds of small businesses all over the Atlanta area.
They found adventure in exploring places as local as the newest restaurant and the oldest hiking trails of Roswell, to far-flung destinations like the coast of Italy and the lochs of Scotland. They shared a love of cooking and wine-tasting that led to laughter filled dinner parties and failed “experimental” nights with just the two of them in their kitchen at home.
As a grandfather, dad, husband, brother, and son; Chuck is preceded in death and continues to be loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Elbert Aldenderfer (Al); his mother, Lois Audrey Buerk; and his brother, Roger Louis Aldenderfer.
Biological family members who continue to live and love him include: his beloved wife Kathleen (Kathy) Briggs Aldenderfer; his children: son, Charles (Charlie) Eric Aldenderfer; daughter, Michelle Aldenderfer Griffin; grandchildren: Kayley Marvel, McKinley Alden, Kathleen (Katie) Griffin, and Jack Griffin; brothers: Wayne Richard Aldenderfer, Gary Raymond Aldenderfer, & Donald Lee Aldenderfer.
Chuck and Kathy were generous and consistent supporters of many children through the Children’s Fund. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider supporting a child-in-need through the Children’s Fund. This link will take you to their website: https://www.childfund.org/
If there is another way you wish to honor Chuck that speaks to how you experienced his generous spirit, please take action on your personal inspiration.
A private family burial ceremony will take place, and a larger “Celebration of Life” gathering will be planned at a later date.
We encourage you to write down any stories, thoughts, memories, etc. and mail them to: 155 Inverness Approach Roswell, GA 30075. These will be collected and kept for the family to read at a later time.
