

Chris, 59, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away on March 01, 2025 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Chris was born to Thomas F. and Juanita Madison Schretter on December 20, 1965. After graduating from North Springs High School, he then earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Valdosta State University. Chris pursued and maintained a successful and lucrative career in sales & marketing for over 2 decades. Later, Chris put away the briefcase and chased his true passions in art - https://www.schreddog.com/ acrylic paintings and his lifelong interest in horse care - Noble Steeds Farm.
Chris embodied the essence of artistry, captivating hearts with his talent and infectious passion for life. Often mistaken as a rock star, Chris was a devoted lover of music, and found joy in melodies that resonated with his soul. His love for horses and all animals was profound, reflecting his compassionate heart and deep respect for all living beings.
Christopher held steadfast to his morals and values, with an unwavering belief in the importance of honesty. He lived his life authentically, inspiring those around him to embrace their true selves. His smile was genuine and filled with warmth, even in his own darkest of days. When Chris smiled, the world seemed a bit brighter, and his joy was contagious. His memory will forever be a reminder to live life boldly and love deeply.
A devoted father to 2 beloved sons Dylan and Dane Schretter. Son to Thomas F. and Juanita Madison Schretter. Brother to Gwynne Whipple, Jeff Schretter and Tim Schretter. Partner and dear friend to Laura Hallowes.
Funeral mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 2443 Mt, Vernon Rd., Dunwoody, Georgia 30338 on March 20, 2025 at 11am.
