

Cynthia (Cindy) S. Leipman, passed away on August 22nd, 2019. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in on January 3rd, 2018. Cindy was born in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation from Miami University in Ohio, she embarked on various careers including insurance. At one point, Cindy drove all over southern Alabama as an insurance loss control specialist. In the early 80’s, she tried different types of arts and crafts including painting and staining furniture. Cindy has always had a great love of animals and has had many rescue dogs and cats over the years. Her current two rescue dogs have provided tons of love and companionship. When living in Houston, Cindy had the opportunity to work as a literacy volunteer and she spent a few years traveling around the Houston area in charge of library volunteers. Cindy loved helping people learn how to read and speak English. After moving to Atlanta, Cindy changed her career and earned a Master in Communication and Interior Design from Southern Polytech (now Kennesaw State) in 2001. Cindy was always interested in the Olympics and was excited to be volunteering in Atlanta. When volunteering, Cindy met and later married her dear husband, Kirk Pfrangle. She enjoyed lots of traveling for work projects all over the US before local projects around the Atlanta area. Cindy also loved to travel on vacations and planning trips. Including early trips all over the country and later to the Caribbean and the US Virgin Islands.
Cindy is preceded in death by her mother and father (Willis and Kathleen Stuart) and brother (Ron). Cindy also leaves behind many cousins, one Uncle John Stuart, her dear husband Kirk, and many friends.
