Darrell Branham

Mr. Darrell Branham, age 74, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Darrell was born on June 24, 1944 in Paintsville, Kentucky, a son of the late Warren Branham and Faye Music Branham.

Darrell grew up in Columbus, Ohio where he attended South High School. He went on to play football for Ohio State and graduate on a football scholarship with a business degree. He was passionate about his Buckeyes! He was also an avid golfer, loved all sports and quite the handyman.

Darrell was a sales manager for Alpha Wire in various regions throughout the US. He moved from Columbus to Indianapolis to Newport Beach, CA, to New Jersey and finally settled in Roswell, GA where he raised three children, Cole Branham (33), Kelly Panter (31) and Austin Branham (26). The pride he had for his children was undeniable and during their years growing up he would hop from one of their sporting events to the next and loved every minute. One of his favorite places to spend time with his family was Sea Pines, Hilton Head. As the kids have grown he found great pride in their education, careers, marriages and grandchildren.

Along with his parents Darrell is preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda, Charlotte, and Diane.

He is survived by his three children, Cole Branham (Allison) of Ashburn, VA, Kelly Panter (Cody) of Canton, GA, and Austin Branham of Roswell, GA; two grandchildren, Julia and Nicholas; a brother, Richard Branham of Perrysburg, OH; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.

All friends and relative are invited to a graveside service in honor of Darrell held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in the Green Lawn Cemetery of Roswell, Georgia.

The funeral services for Mr. Darrell Branham have been entrusted to the care of Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road Roswell, Georgia 30076.
